Evert Nõlv, the creator of xLaw, was awarded the Courts' Badge of Appreciation for special services in the development of the Estonian legal and judicial system.
The Badge of Appreciation was presented at the ceremonial reception of the Plenary Assembly of Judges held on 28.05.2026.
The Courts' Badge of Appreciation is a recognition of the Estonian judicial system, which is given to persons who do not work in the judicial system, but have significantly contributed to the development of the Estonian judicial system.
Estonian courts have been using the legal technology application xLaw for over 8 years (since 2018).
